ORIGINAL COMPOSITION
This is a multi-discipline section, covering all voices and instrumentation, including choral.
It is open to any competitor and replaces the original composition category in the individual disciplines
PROCEDURE
The original composition may include any single voice or instrument, or any combination of voices and instruments. For example - it might be a piano solo, solo voice unaccompanied or with piano accompaniment, solo instrument, groups of instruments, and so on.
STEP ONE - The written composition must be at the Festival office before April 1, 2010 for an adjudication as a composition. A written adjudication will be provided.
STEP TWO – prepare the composition for performance by the voices and/or instruments as specified. The performance will be adjudicated.
FEE $30.00 per entry which covers both adjudications.
